scene 9

Scene 9 i liked it but it was confusing.

on page 88 where were you? why didnt you come to the hall of justice to see us get out?

Henry said this to Della.

it changed the plot becuase since Della didn't come see him get out it made Henry want Alice more.

Was anyone else confused on the ending of this scene on what really happen to Henry or was the author trying to tell us it's never to late to tell us to get your act together and to walk on the correct path.

scene 8

Scene 8 was very confusing.

this whole section just had dates

secen 7

Sence 7 i like it .

This quote was on page 84. Because i'm a jew god dammit I have been there, I haven been there! If you lose I lose.

Alice says this to Henry.

yes this changed the plot well I believe this contribute to all 3. It develop Henry character to because he had some one that believed in him it changed the plot becasue he went to jail being in love with Della but began to in love or lust with Alice.

Why was Henry not sleeping with Alice because she was white why was race such a big issuse.

scene 6

Sence 6 was confusing.

The quote was on page 80. because everybody knows the Mex, Filipinos & Blacks belong to the hurache the straw hat & dirty overalls.

Pachucco said this to the press.

I dont think this changed anything Pachucco just wanted to get threw to the press by stating that they changed the meaning of the Zoot Suit.

scene 5

Scene 5 I liked it because it was easy to understand.

The quote I liked was on page 71. To forget your family & barrio beyond walls.

Pachucco say it to Henry becuase while your in jail you cant think about the holidays, birthdays you going to miss. Or if your gitl is being with someone else. Its all about fouscing on yourself.

Its important because it teaches Henry how to survive and stay fousced.

Why do you think Henry gets so mad at Pachucco when he tries to teach him this?
